Welcome to the forum. :)

Same car as mine, except yours is a year newer.

I've had a few suspension and alignment problems but all sorted easily. Exhaust rotted in places so that's been replaced.

Cambelt replacement is recommended after 40,000 miles or 4 years maximum so that'd need doing soon as it probably hasn't been done. The clever ones always say that, unless you have proof of it being done properly, you should get it done straight away and I'm not going to argue with them.

Have a look HERE for loads more members' data.

Other than that, I think it's a great car and you should be very pleased with it.  Enjoy.  :y

Hi Phil and welcome.  Same as mine but I have a manual. As Golfbuddy says I too have had both front suspension arms changed but nothing else of consequence to worry about other than the cambelt.

If you post up the ad or know where it is one of the lads may know it's history or have a butchers if they are close.

Post details in the "General Chat" if you need any help  :y

Wasnt like this with a Bora I bought, after I bought it i then found out what to look for and its one hell of a list.
