Hi! I am a relative Newbie! in that I no longer own my immaculate 3.0 Elite. Left the car at a friends while I was overseas and a flood in Scotland (worst in 30 years) overwhelmed my car up to top of the window level. I got an independent assessment as I had conflicting reports on the height of the water in my car. A writeoff! I still have not seen it and never will as the insurance/salvage people have taken it away. The good news is when I return to the UK on Friday I am picking up a 2003 2.6 Elite from the Midlands. I just hope it is as good as the last one! Has anybody got any tips on the 2.6?  :)

Hi mate welcome back and good luck with this one.  Hope you learnt your lesson: dont go oop there, them is scary oop there.  Hadrian built a wall for a reason.....   ;D ;D ;D ;D   ::) ::) ::) ::)

Just wait ing for the backlash...........   :-X :-X :-X

Sorry to hear about the drowning. With all this climate change and flooding, I'm trying to teach my "miggy" to swim-just in case.   Welcome to the forum. :)
