Hello Jon.

Just leave it in D for normal driving. When you want to go mad, again leave it in D but switch off the traction control. For extra excitement switch to sports mode and boot it. Carefull though, it can turn round and bite you, especially if the roads are a bit damp. Best stick to private land.

`had a little snow here today: T.C switched-off and have been out 'skating' in my V6 auto. (private land)....`great fun!  ;D

Does traction control work well when it's switched on?

welcome,if you want to get sideways probably best to use it like a manual (1st/2nd) the ar25 box isnt that strong the ar35 is,youd need to check which one you have.it should say on the id plate on the left side behind selector lever :y
