I must admit that at my age it is kind of hard to think of myself as a newbie!! You could say I have the body of a 16 year old, trouble is I am making it wrinkled...I bettter give it back I suppose.
Any way I am a previous owner of an Omega Estate seriously thinking of returning to the fold from my present Citroen C5 estate. Its been a good workhorse but the time has come to change.  Will post when I am succesfull. I wish I had known of this furum with my previous car.
