Newbie pulling up in large colourful vauxhall...
« on: 09 February 2009, 16:35:35 »

Hello, new here myself, bought our first Omega recently, 2.5D est on a W, lovely owning another tank (ex classic merc owner) but boy have we got a scruffy one! Relieved my dad of it for a minor wedge, he'd bought it off eBay - Ad made it look in A1 nick, in reality the interior bodywork's dropping off at a rate of knots, previous owners obviously had five kids and six dogs, all who smoked.  Nice forest of magic trees and a couple of packs of baby wipes later though and it's beginning to feel like ours! Only had it since Nov...  Funny thing is the colour, calls itself 'Graphite' - passing strangers have likened it to a bluey browny purpley greeny blackish sort of colour, except it's gold if it's sunny. Luckily we're managing to keep it just plain graphite by not washing it too often... much loved though!  ::)
