Cam belt costing

Any one any idea what sort of price i'll have to pay for a Cam belt change on my 2.5v6 ?
She is on 78000 so i need to start saving
she is a w reg 2000

Hi mate and welcome to the forum :y

Cost wise about £100 for the cambelt kit and £25-30 for the waterpump which you may aswell do while doing the belt

All depends on what parts you are wanting to fit to your car really.
Genuine Vauxhall Water Pumps are now over £70 :o

Official labour time for a cambelt change is 2.40 hours, plus the cost of the kit thrown on top.....you are probably looking around the £200 mark.

I would second that for Buypartsby. Their belt comes with markings which makes it a bit easier to do. Good price. I bought an OOF DvD which helped greatly with the change.
