Quotes vary so much, First one i got was 1300 quid, eventually got it for 600. 37yo No NCB ( used a mondeo as a brake last year ). Company called Thames Valley, never heard of them but they are underwritten by Norwich Union

Nearly £400 fully comp with 5years ncd with breakdown cover and the wife but she did have a accident 3 years ago so i was obviously penalised for it.

I change insurance companys almost every year to keep the cost down.

Speeding endorsements can be removed after 3 years by paying the appropriate fee.  But I agree, it's not right that insurance companies go back 5.

£180 for her and me, with Effelump.  Handfull years no claims, protected, fully comp etc for '98 MV6.

This is correct, hence why mines going back in the next couple of weeks to have 3 SP30s removed (2 just 3 points fixed penalty the third 28 day ban but no points!!)

I realy have no idea how you lot get your insurance so cheap!!

My 2.5 CDX is on limited millage policy (5000 miles), after searching loads of companies i managed to get it down to £350 with protected no claims

My MV6 is on a full business use 35000 mile policy and costing me £480ish!!

Both are fully comp

Both were taken out when i had to declare all the SP30s, at least this time when the MV6 comes up itll only be 1!!

Seeing as ive had my own insurance since the day i was 17 and never (touch wood) had a claim its a rip off.

I  found Vxl direct realy cheap the first year you sign up with them then the premium goes thro the roof, im guessing they hope your too lazy to change!!
