« on: 24 July 2009, 17:08:50 »

Hi been a member a while and everything ive had trouble with ive found the answers herem so thanksm a great little community, finally i have to ask a question. I have an omega 2.6 cdx 109,000 history, i have codes 0420 and 0430 oil in the pistons and is it the plennum chamber on top the engine, it takes oil regularly, engine management light stays on, does not affect the running of the car and passes emissions twice for the M.O.T, should I fear the worst, I did have about 20,000 ago the valves seats done, I want to sell the car but not con anyone, any ideas, thanks and keep up the good work, mike

Hi Mike and welcome to the forum :)

The 2.6 is prone to having crap valve stem oil seals also get the breathers cleaned out ;)
