New car
« on: 18 September 2009, 14:32:32 »

Hi. I've just bought a "52" reg 2.2 auto saloon with 72,000 miles. I used to own a 2.5 V6 manual tourer estate until about 4.5 years ago; lovely car but at 150,000 miles started to cost more than it was worth to keep on the road.
I've been told I'm silly, but it's roomy, comfortable and so quiet I keep thinking I've forgotten to switch the engine on. I know it'll cost more to run than a Smart car, but at least the boot's bigger! Hope to post some pics soon. :)

Welcome to the site :), and you'll get now arguments here about your new car (except some ribbing, no doubt, about missing a couple of cylinders :P), as we have all seen the light, unlike the FWD matchbox cars that people rave so much about
