I have just registered on this site. I have found your site very useful from the outside! I have a '97 2.5 v6 estate that is sick. It has the classic problem of when hot it kangaroos and cuts out. Prior to this happening the temp guage drops to 0 and the rev counter flips all over the place. If you allow the engine to cool it will start as normal. The coil pack,cam sensor,crank sensor have all bee replaced by previous owner. The RAC have plugged it in and the fault code is 31. Any ideas, a woman in distress!!!! :'(

Welcome, Fault code 31 No Engine RPM Signal,but do post in the general help section, as you will get more advise :y

code 31 is normal if the engine is not running. Nothing to worry about :y
Post your problrm in thr general help and we can see if we can solve it  ;)
