Bonjourno Ravioli ...
« on: 15 November 2009, 16:01:36 »

Hello folks.
I'm Jon, 26 years old (christ I feel old each time I type that), I live in Kent and I'm looking at purchasing my first Omega. I've been into cars for years, having floated about and run a modified car site - (NO, I'm not a boy-o, see further into post for the reasons why not lol) - and I'm currently helping my old man restore an  1968 MGB-GT.
Currently, I drive my wifey's Suzuki Jimny (always say it's the Mrs car, cos I feel it effects my masculinity lol) but, due to us having a baby in July of this year I have demanded that we purchase a new car (one that's larger than your average cigarette pack).
I've always had my eye on the Omega, since I had a spin around an industrial estate in a 3.0l V6 beast. Most eye opening!   :o
Anyway, I thought I'd register to get the low down on the Omega and its marques, pick up and good (and bad) points, to make an educated decision as to whether it's the car for me (us  ;)).
