Intemittent engine failure
« on: 19 November 2009, 21:24:50 »

My OMEGA 2.6 V6 just stopped whilst I was driving it yesterday. Wouldn't start again (just turned over), then after 10 minutes or so it started, only to stop again a few yards down the road. AA man thinks its the in-tank fuel pump as he's seen this a few times with this model. Any suggestions? >:(

Welcome to the forum :)

You would do better to post this question in the "General Help" section

http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?board=general

as more of the technical guys read there than here .. :)

have you done the pedal test ???  I'm thinking you might get code 19 ..

http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1189022687

do the test and post up results in "General Help "

Welcome to OOF mate :y

Is it a 2.5 or a 2.6?  Bet its crank sensor!
