Dash lights
« on: 30 December 2010, 21:51:31 »

I am proud to say that I am the owner of a 2.5 V6 Omega, I bought the car about 2 weeks ago but have just had to have it booked in for a major repair which is rather gutting as it was running great untill the cold, but the question I need an answer to ih on my dash on the right hand side the ilumination has gone so I can't see my gauges at night apart from a faint rev counter, any idea's?

Welcome to OOF Ben :y

Try a sharp tap to the side not working. If that doesn't work then you'll need to change some bulbs. Have a look in the maintenance section index for the dash bulb layout ;)

Welcome Ben :y
As Lee said above^^^ plus, check you haven't accidentally turned down the rheostat knob (illumination dial) on the right side of the lightswitch panel. :y

Thank you chaps, I have made sure that everything is as it should be i.e not turned down and as my old man said if in doubt give it a clout so tried that to but no joy, I think it's going to be a new bulb job but how hard is the unit to get out?
