Hi there, new owner of a 2.5 td estate

Hi,
I've finally migrated from all sorts of other cars (rover turbo diesel being my last) to an Omega.
I've got a 2.5td select...basic i know but its going to be a load lugger with a bit of RWD fun to boot (excuse the pun!).

Ive always joined the forums for any car i buy because i find the information contained within them so valuable.
I'm a bit of a home mechanic, or i try my best anyway.

Just wanted to know what i should check over on my car seeing as i just bought it.
It's done 112k, and its a manual.

Morning.
just joined the forum I drive a 2002 2.6 V6 CD. A great car but starting to have a few minor problems. I think a forum is the best place to be if you do your own repairs.

from what i can see the info on here is very comprehensive and well organised. which makes a change from the mg-rover forum lol. I dont have to go rooting about for info, it's all right there.
