Just to say thank you

I've only been on this forum for a couple of weeks and have asked loads of questions so far regarding my engine. I'd just like to say a huge thanks to everyone who has been so friendly and helpful with advice etc. This really is a great forum and a wealth of information for a newbie like myself. Well done guys, all the help is really appreciated. Hopefully as I learn more about the Omega, I can also be in a position to offer some help in the future.  :)

The fleet consists of a Singer Chamois Coupe, an Imp based kit car - BS Nymph, and a Kawasaki GPZ 900R (& a Toyota RAV4 LPG for the work horse!)

always good to get some positive feedback for the forum Jim - Good to hear!!

Some brilliant experts on here - and those that aint real experts (myself included) will always try to help  ;) or at least provide some humour

Hows that GLS engine going anyway?

Hi Markiec,
                yep the knowledge on here is fantastic and a great forum to boot. As for progress on the GLS, the full engine hunting saga is under the "mini facelift help" thread! looks like my donor car is suitable after all thanks to Marks DTM identifying the year for me.  :)

Yeah i know - Markiec Omega God of Scotland - sounds good.


Call me controversial but not sure i am 100% into this omega god and expert thing - of course i will take the title - but people like me in the same league as yourself, Dave, Fin and Marks DTM, at least in the eyes of any newbies.

If i am going to move from an "expert" to a "god" i need L plates still  ;)

as markiec said, thanks for feedback :) - its good to know the forum is serving its purpose :D

We were all newbies once (though many here came from another forum), and I for one, learnt virtually everything from the good people here.  Hence why I dedicate so much time trying to repay the savings I made  :)

Everybody still has something to learn. Even marks dtm. Possibly.

I wonder what you will be called when you hit 2000 posts....    ;)
