Speedo Reading
« on: 07 November 2006, 12:52:32 »

Hi all, had my Omega about seventeen months now, and just noticed yesterday that the speedo reads the MPH and the odometer registers when going in reverse. No other car I have owned has done this, is it unusual or do all Omegas do this?
p.s. checked this out in the works car park when it was empty  :y

Must be the first car with an electronic speedo you have owned then.......it gets speed info from the ABS unit....the mileometer clocks up and the speed is recorded whether in forward or reverse.

So you cant do the 'Ferris Bulers Day Off' trick of winding the miles off  ;)

Shame! I was going to drive backwards for the next month and get back under a hundred thousand.  ;D ;D ;D
