Xenon HHeadlights?

The lights on my meega suck big time! i beleive this is a common problem?

My question is if i could get my hands on some xenons would it be a straight swap?

I believe they can be swapped over but from what i've read before its not as easy as it might seem. I'm sure there will be an expert along shortly to point you in the right direction... :y

Firstly you need the headlights and the power pack.

Then you need to wire up the self levelling and i believe to be legal you also need headlamp washers.

Better/ cheaper bet would be the later projector type (clear lens) and some high wattage 'off road use only' bulbs

Legally, factory fit HIDs require headlamp self levelling and a washing system (HIDs degrade badly with even tiny amounts of grime on lens).

Aftermarket units are a grey area, but retro fitting factory stuff will I imagine make it same situation as factory fit...

If you have the ribbed lenses, firstly try t-cut on the lens - this will help, though you may have to do it a few times.  Projector (clear lens) lamps are a good improvement from ribbed, and with the Plus50 bulbs are quite acceptable...

Thanks mate,i have the clear lenses so ill try the bulbs suggested :y
