Went out for a long drive in Miggy last night, had a few splatted flys on the windscreen so I thought I will give the washers a quick blast as not to get too much soapy water on the body work. Damm it, i forgot it has headlamp washers, DTI did not have them, soapy water all up the bonnet, it has dried with all streaks on the bonnet.

I wont use them again at night if I dont need to.

It comes as a bit of a shock when you use the washers for the first time after buying a Meega to find your vision is obliterated briefly by the spray on the screen thats fired from the headlamp washers! :o

I may look at a way of stopping them until the winter comes, disconnect the pipes and put some kind of stopper in them or disconnect the wires from the pump, I think the latter would be best.

If you use plugs considering the power of the pump you may find you own the only Omega with the optional extra of twin projectile launchers :)

TBH, if your windscreen is dirty enough to warrant a quick wash, chances are the headlight lenses are as well. Remember HIDs are adversely affected by small amounts of grime, unlike halogens.
