Was there oil on the tip of the plug, or did it get contaminated when you pulled it out?

If only on the outside, then look for the leak and fix it.... if the tip was oily, this is not good news, compression test would be the next stage.

Also, was the oily plug loose compared to the others?

Incidentally, the other three seem to be running a bit lean - is this because of the LPG?

First suggestion is you should NEVER start and run a car from cold on LPG.

It dries out the heads and causes alot of damage, which it would appear is going your way.

This is why a decent LPG conversion will always start on petrol and 'flip over' once warm

The tip was oily......ive check the coil pack and theres no oil on the outside of the rubber sleeve only on the very end of it......so suggests to me oil has come from inside to me  :-/

Not necessarily....  ....I would still be looking for an oil leak around the head...

It doesnt start on lpg.....it starts on petrol.....and auto switches to lpg when water temp is about 40C......it when this temp it misses on lpg ....when it gets to 70+ its ok

None of them were 'tight' tight but none were loose either

And yes probably is because of lpg the other plugs look like that

Here are some pics looking down the plug wells....

Plug well nearest the front ...and looks pretty oil free to me

This the one with the oily plug in it

And the rest are diffent pics of the rest of the plugs wells

So im assuming a gasket is on its way out?  :-/

Could this be caused by blocked breathers?  :-/

I suspect its a nasty case of KHMS......Kack Handed Mechanic Syndrome ;)

The small quantity of oil in a plug near to the oil filler cap is a classic miss the cap slightly when filling it symptom....

The shots suggest its not cam cover gasket and the breathers are clear (seem to recall them being cleared out in the past) and hence the small amount around number two which indicates possibly a right handed person (would have the can over the cam cover when pouring).

As for the oil coming from the bore.....if the plugs not a gas tight seal...you would know!

So, my recommendation, clean the plug bore and coil pack up well and check it again on a few thousand miles....
