The guide does cover mainly everything. Although I wasn't 100% sure where you put the sealant on the gaskets....

I think its basically where the gasket does a 90 deg turn (on my 2.2 it seemed to be)......however if in doubt use too much of it.....i dont think it does any harm and too much is better than too little  :y

Here I go again, the GM / VX T.I.S cd rom. shows the points for black goo, to be, in the semi circle at the rear of the head and as previously stated on the angles at the front where the gasket rises over the front of the cam casing..

I agree BLACK GOO ONLY, the green SNOT, goes brown and brittle on the inside of the cam covers..  Never Right!!  ;)
