The idle valve thingy on the plenum
« on: 28 January 2007, 19:53:34 »

How tight is this meant to be?

Mine seems a bit loose and feels loose....could easily slide it out of the plenum?

Just working out a list of what to do tomorrow when I remove the hopefully breaked HBV that may have caused the leak

Not usually a very tight fit, but if very loose, its going to be a problem...

The part that fits onto the plenum is ribbed and has about 5 to 10mm of play...that acceptable?

As long as it always has an airtight seal, yes. If not always airtight seal, no.
