A UK gas conversion is circa £1300 apparently but less than half in Poland.

Converted MV6's are out there but need a good looking for.....

And far better than a Granny, even a 2.9 Cosworth  ;)

You can have mine.

It is not MV6, not 3.0L, not manual, and not converted... but apart than that it fits the bill  ;D

Seriously, why not get a cheap ex-plot manual MV6 and convert it? You are likely to re-coop some if not most of the conversion cost come sale time.

Non-ex-plod MV6 manual... now that's a tall order even before we go into the LPG...  :( good luck with finding one.

That would be cheap for a V6.....nearer the £2k mark  :y

Its about £800-£900 just for the bits if you diy it.

You dont find many Mv6 LPG's more 2.0,2.2 and 2.5 I have seen acouple of 3.0

I guess people who what LPG want to save cash on fuel like myself are not fussed about top end speeds.

To give you a ball park figure on a 2.0 with a mixer (old system) i can get about 7p per mile or about 500miles for 36-38 quid

one thing i do know others may say the same the MPG is ok at normal speeds but when you boot it it seems to drink it faster than it would with petrol but hey a 40 odd pence a litre who cares

Or it enables people to be able to afford a 3.0 rather than a tractor

True

I used to do 25000 mile to work and back a year and it worked out on gas a saving of around £2700 over petrol this is the reason i went for my omega in the first place.
Shame I only stayed in the job for 4 weeks until i got another one as i hated it there

Don't underestimate tractor performance when properly tuned....   ....ask Bo Bo who went in Omegatoy's estate ;)

And, tractor owners still have a boot ;)
