Got my laptop back today.....  Look!  QQQQQQQ qqqqqqqqq   :y   The note that came with it says, and I quote.." Avoid LiQuid Coming Into Contact With Notebooks!"    What could they mean??? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Its a polite way of saying "Don't let drunks with bottles of stella in their hand play with yer lappy." IMHO. ;D

Glad to hear that your back at full strength. I wonder how they knew that it got wet? Perhaps the overwhelming smell of lager was the give away. ;D

Not just you, I had the next door neighboors daughter around last night.
Bit of water on a sony vaio laptop keyboard.

Opened it up and game over :(
New keyboard may fix it, but age / cost decided on new laptop.

Wasn't it advertised as a splash proof keyboard?  I know the difference between a splash and some fat oaf with a bottle of stella though  ::)

Presumably, all fixed and didn't cost you a penny?

Yeah!
All sorted... no charge, as you say Jaime, advertised as splashproof, one of the reasons why I bought it, "I've got clumbsy kids!"...   I look at it this way, If I hadn't have got it out of the car, it wouldn't have happened anyway.... it's only materialistic....  NOT life & limb.... :) :) :)
