MID Display
« on: 28 March 2007, 02:39:22 »

I have a 32 pin display was told it was 36, display has all its pix No 90 565 934 grey plug, 32 pin at rear with 4 bulb lights.

I could do with NO 90 379 234 yellow plug 36 pin at rear also black plug 12 pin with 2 bulb lights, as my pix on time are awful.

Of cause my air bag light comes on now because of removal to reach MID. Will sort out if I can get a replcement MID.

right well removal of the mid should not affect the air-bag light.... at least i don't think so.

As for your replacement MID it must come from car of the same type... what size is your V6? If you have a 2.5 your replacement mid must come from a 2.5.

If someone near you has tech2 you can use any MID, as they can be re-programed via tech2.

Does your MID have a yellow socket on the back as well as a black one?

I think if the car has had the ignition key turned with the Dash removed this will cause the Airbag light to come on, unless something else has triggered it.

Cheapo Tech2 cannot re-program MIDs or anything for that matter. Cheapo Tech2 can only read and reset fault codes.....
