cam locking kit
« on: 07 April 2007, 15:04:51 »

Hi there,

I am looking for a cam locking kit so I can do the timing belt on my meega which is overdue.  I was waiting for James to finish his work so I could pick it up but I think he is having dramas.  Marks is also unavailable.

Does anyone have a kit near me that I can use, or if they are using it can I pop over and use it in the time it takes me to do the change?

I am pretty desperate now as I need to go and see my parents up north but I dare not go too far a distance now.

Cheers

I've got one ... but I'm in Kent which, according to the AA route planner, is about 120 miles / 2 hours away ... if you want to collect or pop over here tomorrow I'll give you a hand doing the change ... but it might be a bit far ??

Thank you for the offer, I will keep it in mind.  I dont want to take up your easter sunday though, I would feel a little guilty...

If no others come up though I will probably take you up on the offer of your kit.   :y

I'm 'up north' (9 miles north of Manchester) if you want to borrow mine while you're up here. It'd stop you being bored while you're visiting!  ;)
