In need of some front and rear monaro VXR discs

hi guys just wondering if anybody out there in the know could tell me where im going to get some monaro VXR front and rear discs from....

obviously trying to keep away from VAUX main due to prices but wondered if anyone might be able to help...

this is my next MOD - I HOPE-

any help apreciated

HOLY SH*T!!!!!!!!!!

phone an auth dealer and they have given me prices on them now!!!!

i cant belive they are this much!!!

FRONTS- £344+VAT EACH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

REARS - £381+VAT EACH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

so replacement discs are like £2k!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is just discs not pads not calipers not even LUNCH!!!!!!!!


Hmmmm time to re-think the discs

LOL i'm not surprised, they're probably brembos or similar. It's a similarly stupid price for discs on my 840, so I discovered a company in the US selling genuine drilled brembos for about $400 shipped anywhere in the US. Almost the same again to have them shipped to the UK so when I was in New York I had them shipped to my hotel and took them on the flight home with me! Needless to say I got some really funny looks and questions at the airport when checking in my rather heavy bag :D Collected it at the other end to discover it had been opened and resealed with tape covered in the TSA logo (basically the US security screening guys).

A lot of hassle yes but it saved me about £400!

Oh these discs are only 330mm front & rear, being a newer and more powerful car the ones on the VXR Monaro are probably bigger than that!

the normal monaro only has 296mm fronts the VXR has 330mm fronts and 315mm rears..... its just crazy how much for things like discs....... belive me im surfing the ozzy net for some as we speak.

given up on idea .... now so sold calipers that would of made it work .... il try another route!!!!!!! ;)

and me il just stick to tuning my meega still trying for 300 bhp any one have a lsd for sale plz let us now and how much are chips and who best to get one from that is of good quilty thanks

LSD diff ........... i have several diffs LSD and non LSD.

1 - 4.22-1 Open diff
1 - 3.90-1 Open diff
3 - 3.70-1 LSD DIFFS

I might be interested in selling 1...... might.... :-?

as for chip - whats your ECU number??
