As you know i have got an abs ecu off of ebay i havent recieived it yet but on the picture there is brake pipes showing on the ecu block, can i detach the electric part from the unit or do i have to fit it as one whole unit if so am i right in thinking diconnect the brake pipes from it and bleed the brakes if so can anyone advise me if there is a sequence to bleeding the brakes and fitting the unit ?

Have you read the how to on replacing ABS ECU?
May shed some light.  Steve that did it still pops on here now and again.

I was reading this thread earlier and thought I'm sure theres a how2 somewhere but couldn't find it to post up.

I read somewhere with this job you have to be careful not to get air into the unit and that it can only be worked to release air via tech2 for ease.

I may have missed it though or its not been added to the relevant section  :-[

Abit of useless info sorry good luck in getting it sorted :y

You can just replace the ecu section.....

And if anybody ahs a broken ecu can you send it to me for disection please...
