hi all can anyone help i have 2.5v6cd omega N REG and i can get some secondhand headlights from a 3ltr elite R reg will thay fit mine please help befor thay are sold :-[

Where are they?? e-bay!  If so post the item we'll have a look, if not are they Xenons on the R reg?

Yes they will fit.. BUT if they are HID's I would not bother as they will be expensive and damn awkward to retrofit. On initial glance they will look the same (HID's mst have headlight washers though).

Easy way to know is in the cabin. Projectors have a beam height adjuster (0,1,2,3) right below the headlight switch and HID's don't (just blanked off).

Projectors are a very good upgrade over standard halogen lights. Fit decent +50 bulbs and a new earth for best results.

Maybe he thought that they were Projectors and not HID's !!!!!!!!!!  Mmmmm ! Grey area indeed..

They were standard lights from my elite. I was offered a set of projectors for a very good price from my friend who breaks vauxhalls.
That was the only reason i was selling them.
And magnaman picked them up today and was well chuffed as they were the same part as his old one's but so much clearer.

hopfully thay are ok but will go for a drive when it gets dark also is it wise or can i put /or get brighter bulbs

I recommend Osram Silver Stars £15 a pair on Ebay  :y

These were fitted to my wife's 05 Meriva - pics below - and I have them in my Omega of course...



And no its not a trick, the garage light was not turned on and no the car never moved, and no I don't sell them either ;)
