« on: 02 May 2007, 07:48:22 »

:-[ Is it possible to program keys without car pass, local stealers are unable to find the number for my 95 CD. It seems no codes were used befor 95 and mine is a 94 spec. Can it be done using Tech2.  Please help I am now 3 weeks without my omega and I am getting cramp driving my daughters Mini.

Sorry, don't know.  Being an early one, it is probably infrared, not rf.  Tech2 cannot do IR remotes (need a Tech1).  Whether or not it can do the immobiliser is a different story, and I would need to try to find out (I know it can read some early immobilisers)...

I find it rather strange that you own a car, quite legally, and can prove this, yet the manufacturer cant give you the means to start it! rather nonsense >:(

I have spoken to another dealer ( 200 miles away ) and he finds it strange the number can not be found. he is going to look into it for me.  other than that I may take the switch from the good key and put it in the duff key to see if that works.
