I have a 1995 'm reg' omega 2.0 auto.Problem,it keeps stalling,not from cold but when warmed up.Slip it in gear and engine management light comes on and promptly stalls.Had it to the garage and they hooked it up to a code reading machine.Came up with a sensor fault (dont know which sensor).They replaced it.Lovely for about 2 weeks,but now back to normal-stalling.Any thoughts would be very helpful.A BIG PAIN IN THE PROVERBIAL AT THE MOMENT.Thanks  Painterman

have you cleaned out throttle body, ICV, breathers?

Please correct me if I'm wrong here but this is a common problem on the 2lt, check, clean or replace all three of the breather pipes on the rocker cover.  Might be worth removing the cover itself to clean out the vent holes too.  Same thing happened to me, engine warm and would stall, often at the worst moment too

 Hi again.Had the cam cover off today and guess what,the breather from the air flow meter was blocked.Cleaned all three to make sure plus as much as i could from the throttle body without taking it off the car.Warmed the engine up then took it for a run-not hint of a stall.Many thanks for the advice.Will make use of this site for future problems.  Painterman

Not bad for 2 posts!

I guess the cause of the EML light was the sensor (cam/crank??) - I've not come across the EML coming on with just the normal 2L stalling problem.

Usually it boils down to the ICV. Either clean thoroughly or replace, best thing to do is replace. In my experiance cleaning just delays the problem not cureing the problem. There are a couple of ICV's on ebay reasonable price's as well.
