last omega had a wiper motor problem - it would sometimes, especially on the first wipe, stop part-way through the sweep - if you gave it a push it would continue - not exactly practical if on the motorway!!
I sourced a motor from another forum member - could well have been from this one - it came from an early model even though mine was a 2000 model year (facelift), the parts are interchangeable. A breaker wanted £40 !!
Wiper motor removal is fairly well covered in the book of lies, from memory there are three securing bolts for the wiper/linkage assembly - two you can see, the third is tucked up at the back of the linkage where the motor is located - at the back - you'll need an extension bar to reach it. Once the plug is disconnected from the motor, the entire assembly can be removed fairly easily. One bolt secures the linkage to the motor (make note of where it is, from memory looking from above it rests at the 3 O'clock position) - undo this and lift that off the motor spline. I think it's then two bolts securing the motor to the linkage - swap motors and reassemble.
You could always create a how-2 whilst doing it
