ouch just had my tooth out!!!

I`ve just had to visit the emergency dentist as i`m not registered with 1 and they had to take my tooth out...i`m quite impressed with the dentist no pain and he put me right at ease mind ya i did think at 1 stage he was trying to pull all of em out as it did not want to go  ;D  ;D Maybe now i can get a good nights sleep rather than lying there moanin an groanin!!!! :'( :'( god i feel knackered now...

It's true what they say about being able to block pain with the mind. I had a stubborn tooth taken out once without any injections/gas/sedation whatsoever ;D

Ah, that reminds me. I'm about 18 months overdue for a check-up  :(

yep thats the bit i`m scared of going for a check up next time....HOW MUCH??????

Have to say it is handy being in the forces dont have to try and register with dental or medical, not looking forward to having to pay or register it has been hard enough getting the rest of the family with a dentist

Well my mate whos an ex para did offer too take out for me yesterday...but i did`nt like his method i.e. a right hook... :o  :o

Yeah, normally when you're totally numb in the mouth. If only they could do something to numb you from the shock of getting the bill too.

Reminds me of an old cartoon I saw once.

Picture this:

Dentist has got a big pair of pliers into the patients mouth.
Patient has got his hand firmly on the dentists gonads and is saying to him "Now, we're not going to hurt each other, sre we? ;D
