Hot terminal

My negative earth terminal of battry gets very hot when running engine, also loosing charge tried a different batt same thing suspect a shot some where, there are vo lights on like boot ect.  Earth leads to car are ok .

Probably a loose, dirty or missing earth lead.  There will be one earting the block to the chassis somewhere.  Make sure its nut covered in crud and not getting a clean connection.....

the heat build up is usually poor connection (probably the crimped connection between wire and batt clamp)
