My sunroof has been playing up for a while, tried greasing the sliders but not much improvement, had the motor off & slid it open & shut by hand, seems to slide easier when it's open a third to fully. Is there any adjustment on it? cause it is sticking a bit I have to hold the button in  to get it shut (frosted up mode) any suggestions please? mind you the way this summers going might not need to open it much

Try a reset as detailed in FAQ section, so the roof can learn the amount of friction it needs to overcome

have you cleaned all round the sunroof? where it's sealed?

i dont have a sunroof but my bro has one on his lexus and when parking under a tree in this heat we've had lately, the sap gets in everywhere!

I had similar trouble with mine when I first got it - wasn't the runners after all, it was the gearbox - all the grease inside had gone solid, probably through lack of use. The worst bit was the brass gear that engages with the band connected to the glass - it could barely be turned by hand! I stripped that down, lubricated with white lithium grease and it's been fine since.

When refitting, I found that due to the motor resynching its' position, the sunroof ended up not sealing right. The procedure I worked out in the end is this:

fit motor - hand wind sunroof shut
remove motor
connect cable to motor
power up ignition, open and close virtual roof so that motor resets to closed position
refit motor

... job's a good 'un
