Where do you get Oust from TB?   Is it a supermarket job or car product?   I've got a Sainsbury's on the way home, Tesco is a bit out of the way (Halfruds and another car place just up the road too)

It really is the pong that is the issue.  Strange that spilling water has caused that and it hasn't gone away over at least a year.  There is no sign of any damp anywhere now.

Cheers,

Ian
Methinks further investigation is needed as you say its odd that water should smell for so long One possible answer is that the spill has re-hydrated somthing nasty that has previously been spilt on and impregnated the carpet

The usual household cleaning aisle in tescos.  Its one of those aerosols for nice smells after 'heavy bathroom visits'...

rather than create a fresh topic, thought i'd revive this as I would like to know if anyone knows where to get this Decosol Instant Valay foam from, or if anyone else has any other recommendations of a similar product

dont really wanna attempt shampooing my interior since it's just a few light denim marks on the driver's seat from the previous owner, and rain marks from opening the doors in the wet!

A luke-warm solution of biological washing powder will kill anything that it producing the smell. Don't do it more than 40 degrees though, or the enzymes in the soap will be killed.

Will,

This may be as much use as a chocolate teapot as I find the link now doesn't work..
When I searched for it at the time I found this place
http://www.4wheelplay.co.uk/decosol-instant-valay-500ml-p-24000090.html

Hopefully the web site is just down temporarily.

I haven't tried it though.

Cheers,

Ian
