Steve, does it feel like a new beginning?  :D  I just love the fact that you went from an Omega to an Alfa.  You gonna start a cult?!  ;D ;D

It took a week or so, but I am so glad I took the plunge. I just adore it. As LB says so often, there sre no tangible reasons I could give you for owing one. They're just 'special'

Yeah, they interest me to for no logical reason.  Then there's the bent religious reference of having an Alfa and an Omega.  My forum name is theolodian after all.  ::) ;D ;D

It's really easy to work on. If something needs doing, I just drive it a couple of miles, spend the day drinking tea and watching Jeremy Kyle, and pick it up all fixed. :y

Integrale  :-* Proper silly car before the days of girls stuff like ABS and TC ;D

I always thought it was a shame that Lancia pulled out of selling cars here. OK. I'd need a long session in the pub before ever considering buying one but motorsport history wouldn't be the same without the Fulvia, Delta and the Stratos :-*.

In Italy this last couple of weeks I started to realise why they don't sell here any more. I saw some of the ugliest cars imaginable running round with Lancia badges on. Take a look at some of the munters they're peddling now http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lancia#Current_models.

Shame really.

That Stratos kit car looks REAAAAAAAALLLYYYY nice!  :y  I see one running around here once in a while.  Also see a GT40 sometimes.  Used to be an Integrale, but haven't seen it in a long time.

Only Lancia I ever drove was a diesel MPV rental in Sicily.  :-[
