fault code 22
« on: 30 June 2007, 07:20:37 »

Anybody had to replace a throttle position sensor....have had erratic running and almost stalling over last few days...have eml so flashed up fault codes..they indicated 22 as tps ..now i did fit another one a few months ago albeit that it was second hand so unknown history...just wondering if anybody else has had issues with them as want to be sure that that is the fault..as they say "if the computer says its faulty should you just buy a new one" ?

If the one you used was second hand, I should think that's a definate starting point.

I had hoped they  were fairly reliable, but this is the second one inside a few months and 10k miles to give me problems..albeit last one was second hand,so me think second hand to get me running and order new one as permenant job??my real question is why 2 in a short space of time? could i be really that unlucky !
