Fault Codes
« on: 07 July 2007, 13:58:42 »

Well back again with a little enquiry.

My alternator started overcharging and started to seize, I was quite away from home and wanted to make it back wthout the need for a tow truck so lowered the revs and crawled home with battery light on dash glowing every time I accelerated. Made it home parked up and went and got another alternator this morning. Now replaced and sounds great, however the battery light does not come on at all now, not even when turning key. However the main beam light is on  intermitently and appears to go out every time I go over a bump.

Have checked all electrical components while engine running and everything works fine. Have run her for 4 miles and she runs fine. took her to local garage and got battery tested and alternator tested and they say both are fine

Came home and did paperclip test just for the sake of it, this is what I got!

0110
0100
1503

Ny ideas what these codes are and any idea why the light would keep coming on?????

When I stated main beam I meant the main beam light on the dash is permanently on. All electrics work as they should!
