Hi guys thanks for the advice regarding the heater matrix but I've been reading about this hbv thingymebob my cossie had aircon not climate, so I'm open to advice. 2 coolant pipes that go into bulkhead cut off, there is a small vac pipe with them but still attached. Coolant stain is on drivers side carpet - not huge but there will that be the matrix or the whatever the hell it is and if it is the valve how on earth do I get it out as I've had my head stuck up my bum trying to wriggle 18 stone into top right corner of engine bay and I canna see any nuts or bolts captain! (that bit should be in a scotish accent) sorry it's been a long day in the rain changing V6 plugs, that passenger bank is a right so n so.

I would try changing the O rings to the matrix before popping the matrix out....its a much easier job to do....
