oil leak
« on: 11 July 2007, 09:41:19 »

Hi folks
My 1988 Omega 2ltr 16v GLS  leaks engine oil (!) just 3-4 drips from the screw heads at the bottom of the torque converter (the lowest point) only leaks after a run and possibly while driving, but not when engines cool and cars parked.
The Head has been skimmed, gasket and cam belt done.
Before this work it leaked oil and water from all over the place. I`m sure its not leaking from cam cover.
Other than this it runs very well and idles perfectly.
Any help or suggestions gratefully recieved.

Make sure everything has been cleanrd and all old oil residue removed, because this leak may just be oil running down to that point from the previous leak that your car had.
