It needs to be correct type, which is year dependent.  Additionally, it needs to come of car with same configuration (earlier type, just engine and gearbox, later type, engine, gearbox, tyres, HIDs, addon heaters etc), although the config can be adjusted via Tech1/2

Can you get tid display with just a single yellow plug on the back? if so I would like to change my display in my gls to a cd spec display. Can this be done? and would there be anything I would need to do/change?
Thanx Paul :y

sorry i dont no anything about how these things work

Hi there
These are TID’s (triple info display) and not a MID's. When I changed mine a tid, I got one that had been puled out of a vectra, but I had to change the casing to make it fit the omega, which ment that I had to unsolder the three prongs at the circuit board to get the casing off and then resolder into the omega casing. But if its a MID you need then you need to get one out of a similar spec Omega, and I think they need to be set to program before they are pulled out.
this is an MID on E

You may won't get gearbox warnings.  It can be reprogrammed to match you car via Tech1/2

It HAS to be the right type though, pre 98 cars have a yellow and a black connector, and radio line above fuel computer lines. Post 98 cars have a single grey connector, and radio line below fuel computer lines...
