Brake light check not responding.
« on: 15 July 2007, 16:22:43 »

Over the last few days the 'Brakelight Check' on starting my 99 2.5 CD auto has been very reluctant to respond to pressing the footbrake peddle which in turn will not release the auto box shift handle. It's taken any thing from a few seconds to several minutes before it responds.  I have checked the bulbs and connectors for the brakelights and everything seems to be in order.  has anyone else had the same problem?

Thanks
