Is it in "safe mode" or has it been entered in more than 10 times?

Mine was in safe mode and i had no code, a local audio centre decoded and re-coded a fresh code for mine for £20

After a couple of wrong entries, there is a 'wait time' where ignition has to be on.  After a maximum of 10 wrong entries, its junk.

There is a place by me who says they can even fix those!
Not needed to try, but it is RDS in Queensferry, near Chester.

They certainly have some trick.
When we had her CDR2006? done, it was up to the hour or so wait time
lots of codes written down, nothing correct :(

They had the code in minutes, and bypassed the wait.
