engine shut off switch

A few cars I've owned in the past have had a engine shut off switch  which shuts off the engine in the event of a frontal impact, sometimes found in the boot & resettable. Does the omega have one?

Ford Granada's had an inertia switch in the boot to isolate the high pressure fuel pump in the event of an accident... as far as I know miggy's don't have one .. at least the manual nor Haynes mention one as I looked long and hard when I got the miggy   ..

but I'm sure an expert will rapidly correct me !!

My Dad was nearly late for a funeral cos of that switch on a Granada based hearse and nobody knew owt about it.

Yeah .. I "educated" several folks with caravans on the back who towed a tad fast through rough fields, the pitching/banging could set the inertia switch off, very simple push to reset.. once you knew it was there !  :)

That was why I looked VERY hard when I got the miggy, didn't want to be in the same boat :)
