hello everyone can you tell me what code 31 is please it come up on my fault finding gismo! is it crankshaft senser anyone now

 Fault code 31 ....Crankshaft sensor (no signal)

Hang on!

31 does not necessarily mean cranksensor. If engine not running, 31 is normal.

Does car start, if so do paperclip test again with engine running.

If engine won't start, 31 is inconclusive.


Now if you ever see a 19, change the crank sensor immediately!!
