Never worked on the DBW types but would imagine that you simply disconnect an electrical plug at the butterfly/throttle body end rather than disconnect the operating cables for throttle and cruise, if fitted, thereafter essentially the same as the Howtoo, I would imagine.  (says he, awaiting someone else to say he's wrong....  ;D  )

DBW is easier, as said, no cables to disconnect, just the electrical plug.

for doing anything on the Omega you will need a good set of torx sockets/bits, and if removing throttle body etc a torque wrench that goes down to 8Nm.

For breathers, DBW is same as other v6. Due to extended plenum, 2 extra o rings in the forward part of the plastics on the plenum.

Just to check is it just to two srews on the black eco cover that i need to remove and then just ilft the larger part Eco cover out. Also is it easy to take off the breather pipes at the back of the block.

Sorry for all the qustions just what to do it right.

There is a hidden screw under the larger plastic bit with 'Eco' on it.  You need to carefully get a flat blade screwdriver between one of the long sides and the alloy plenum to pop the cover off.  Once off you will see the 3rd screw.

and dont put screwdriver too far under - its simply a thin (1mm) section of plastic the comes off to show hidden screw.

Hold on, photo to follow....

Apologies for the dirty engine  :-[  but should give you a clue to removing the cover to get to 'heidden screw' that can be seen in picture

Yes, just that the 4 rubber pipes at back off. These will need cleaning as well.

Lots of carb cleaner in the plastic box.

May need new seals, sometimes they are split.
