Multi-changer cartridge

Hi,i'm a new Omega V6 Estate CDX owner,so give me the benefit of the doubt ;)

The CD cassette in my Omega Auto,can only be extracted when the box is in neutral or one of the drive positions....is this normal?
or am i a bigger spanner than i thought??

please be gentle,my ass cannot be kicked TOO hard,i have to drive :)

Yup a well noted design fault, on the up side if you leave your door unlocked and the car in park it stops scrotes emptying your cd cartridge ;)
