1995 key fob

Key fob with single centre button and a small button on the edge. What is the button on the edge for? It lights the led on the fob but does nothing to the car  :-?

hi there think its to dead lock the car ie press it within a couple of seconds of pressing the midle button

Pete is correct, according to the owners manual if you press the button no more than 30 seconds after locking with main button, it will switch on the mechanical anti theft locking system.  I scanned the page but couldn't work out how to post the picture on here
