Central Locking
« on: 17 September 2007, 15:02:48 »

The central locking works from the remote and the key.

however,  from the remote it doesnt always lock the drivers door, and sometimes it does.

also, had to disconnect the passenger side CDL as it wouldnt open at all with the CDL connected - will this need a new module??

will the drivers side be a new module?

Check the connections first, i had a similar problem which turned out to be a dodgey connection.

Is the door lock motor being driven, can you see the pin move down?
If not it's possibly the motor, if you remove and dismantle it you will find two microswitches inside.
One will probably have high resistance across the NC contacts, easy and inexpensive to replace the switch.
