Car stalling!!!!!!!!!!

Can any1 giv me any pointer's on my car i have omega 2ltr cdx estate 1999 sometimes when its warm it stals but then its fine, and when it's ideling it rev's about 0.5,  but then it it rev's all of a suden then goesback to 0.5 any ideas?

This is a common problem with the 2.0ltr.
What you need to do is remove the IACV (Idle air control valve) clean this out with carb cleaner thoroughly. Then remove the throttle body and clean this as well with carb cleaner and remove all of the carbon build up especially on the butterfly. Then you need to clean or replcae the breather hoses and thats all of them. Also check the crankcase breather which is the metal tube that comes up from the sump at the back of the engine and clean this as well and replace. This should solve the problem, remember to use a little oil in the IACV on them stem to allow this to move freely.

IACV and Throttle body on the left (as you look from the front of the car). Follow the air claener box and trunking up towards the windscreen and its there. The breather hoses are from connected to the cam cover.

Remove the air intake duct, and you'll see it. The air intake is attached to the throttle body. With intake duct removed:


In this picture, the IACV has been removed, but you'll understand which part it is.
